The self-titled debut album from
Anguish is a powerhouse collaboration between members of Dälek, the Swedish free jazz group Fire! Orchestra, and the legendary German Krautrock band Faust. Released in 2018 via RareNoise Records, this CD presents a dark, industrial, and improvisational "wall of sound" that blends political hip-hop with avant-garde jazz.
Personnel and Production
The project was recorded in just three days at Faust's Scheer Studios in Germany, resulting in a raw, dystopian sonic profile.
